The Nicanor App is a worldwide B2B platform which gathers diamond manufacturers, exporters, importers and buyers in one arena.

Nicanor was my final project in the UX course with Tal Florentin. We brought a real client with a real challenge to solve. We improved the app and the desktop version of the diamond exchange platform.
Even though Nicanor has a very strong presence in the market, there were not enough retentions from the app and the desktop version as well.
Improve the user journey by understanding the user needs and creating a consistent design with organized hierarchy, more retentions, more purchases.
After researching the market, some competitors and the users, we noticed that we can learn a lot from eCommerce websites as one of the solutions for the user journey.
The old version of the app was distracting, the "Stones" and the "Search Stones" CTAs were distracting and get the user far from the goal.
The filters were not organized causing confusion, lack of hierarchy.
The instructions for each stone, after talking to real users, were relevant but not taking advantage of all the space it could be using.
During the research we came up with 3 personas. Here we can see that Millenials and Generation Z are a big part of the users.
We created wireframes to plan ideal screens and the best user journey.
Below you can see some additional screens of the mobile app.
